About Destination Sacred Grounds
Destination Sacred Grounds exists to help women remember their innate wisdom by returning to relationship with themselves, each other and the living Earth.
I create welcoming spaces for women moving through transitions and changing seasons of life, offering opportunities to slow down, reconnect with the body, explore nature and experience a deeper sense of belonging.
Through nature-based gatherings, women’s circles, somatic education, earth-based practices and one-to-one support, I invite women to pause, listen and reconnect with what matters.
I am a Holistic Counsellor, Women’s Somatic Educator and Earth-Based Practitioner, bringing these different threads together with a deep respect for the wisdom, rhythms and cycles of the natural world.
My work is grounded in the belief that we don’t always need to search outside ourselves for the answers. Sometimes we need space to slow down enough to hear what is already there.
Destination Sacred Grounds is an invitation to come home to yourself, to nature and to others. A place to feel welcomed, connected and curious about what might unfold next.
Where the journey is the destination.
- Holistic CounsellingHolistic Counselling is a form of therapy that looks at clients as a whole, integrated individual. Rather than just treating the symptoms, Holistic Counsellors look at the interconnectedness of the body, mind and spirit. In addition to talk therapy, Holistic Counsellors draw on a range of treatment protocols. Depending on their scope of practice, these techniques may include, but are not limited to, Hypnotherapy, Art, Meditation and Mindfulness, Breathwork, Energy Healing and Psychotherapy. In some countries, Counselling is regulated. It is essential you are familiar with and adhere to the laws in your state/province or country which govern the appropriate use of titles, require licensure/registration, or a specific level of education.
- Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP)Co-founded by Richard Bandler and John Grinder in the 1970’s, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) enables us to understand how our brain processes the words we use and how that can effect our programming and behaviour. Engaging various tools and techniques, practitioners support clients with re-programming their neurology, language and actions. Rather than allowing thoughts to be passive, NLP techniques help to look at thoughts, feelings and emotions as things that can be controlled. Techniques can include things such as Imagery Training, NLP Swish, Modelling, Mirroring, and Incantations.
- Training & AssessmentTraining & Assessment, also known as Adult Learning & Development, is a course designed to prepare educators in regulated (i.e. the VET sector) and non-regulated industries to confidently and professionally plan for and deliver training to individuals, small workgroups and classes of varying sizes. Incorporating the technical skills and knowledge necessary, facilitators/assessors are able to develop and administer assessments against nationally recognised qualifications and units.
