  • Emmett Technique
The Emmett technique was developed by Ross Emmett in 1999. It is a unique muscle release therapy involving the application of light finger pressure on “Emmett points.” By using the right amount of pressure, in the right direction, for the right amount of time, therapists can stimulate a relaxation response in the soft tissue, instantly relieving tightness and restricted movement. The Emmett Technique can be used as a stand-alone therapy or can be combined with other techniques. It can be applied through clothing or direct skin contact and clients can be treated seated, standing or lying down. Sessions can last anywhere from 10 - 30 minutes or they might be longer if combined with other treatments like massage. If you are treating animals, please refer to Emmett Technique on Animals.

  • Emmett Technique on Animals
The Emmett Technique on Animals is a muscle release therapy created by Ross Emmett. It is based on the concept that the brain has the ability to self-evaluate and re-calibrate using sensory receptors within the body. Practitioners apply a light touch to micro points within muscles and muscle groups, referred to as “Emmett Points,” which eases pain and discomfort, creates postural improvements, improves body movement and restrictions and restores muscle function and balance in horses and canines. The technique is precise and needs to be applied with the right pressure, in the right direction and with precise timing to achieve optimal results.

  • Equine Reiki
Equine Reiki is a form of energy healing that focuses on promoting balance, relaxation, and well-being in horses. It involves the gentle laying of hands on or near the horse's body to channel healing energy. The practitioner connects with the horse's energy field and works to remove blockages, release tension, and stimulate the horse's natural healing abilities. Equine Reiki can help reduce stress, ease physical discomfort, and enhance emotional and mental well-being in horses. It is a non-invasive and holistic approach that aims to support the horse's overall health, vitality, and harmonious connection with its environment.

  • Reiki II
Reiki is a hands-on energy healing method developed by Mikao Usui in 1922. What sets it apart is the attunements passed from Teacher/Master to student, opening up their energy fields. Reiki involves transferring universal life force energy from practitioner to client, with hands placed on or above specific body locations. Symbols are used with different intentions, visualized or drawn. Reiki can be done in person or through distant healing, lasting 60-90 minutes. It aids in pain relief, healing, relaxation, and balancing chakras and aura energy. Clients remain clothed on a massage table during sessions.

  • Time Line Therapy®
Founded by Tad James Co. in 1986, Time Line Therapy® is the latest development in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). Time Line Therapy® techniques utilize a person’s own internal “Time Line” to work with their unconscious minds in a variety of ways; including, healing emotional traumas and eradicating unwanted thoughts, emotions and behaviours. A person's “Time Line” is how they unconsciously store their memories or how they unconsciously know the difference between a memory from the past and a projection of the future. Behavioural change in an individual takes place at an unconscious level. The Time Line Therapy® techniques allow people to work at the unconscious level and release the effects of past negative experiences and change “inappropriate” programming in minutes rather than days, months or years.

  • Hypnotherapy
Hypnotherapy is a therapeutic technique that utilizes hypnosis to access and influence the subconscious mind. It involves inducing a relaxed state, known as a trance, where the individual is open to positive suggestions and guided imagery. This altered state of consciousness allows the hypnotherapist to work with the client's deeper levels of awareness to address and transform limiting beliefs, behaviours, and emotional patterns. It is a collaborative process that aims to harness the power of the mind for personal growth and healing. For our purposes, it is important to differentiate Hypnosis/Hypnotherapy from Clinical Hypnotherapy. Clinical Hypnotherapists undergo extensive training and are skilled in Counselling/Psychotherapy, making them adept at handling more complex cases such as trauma/PTSD, fears and phobias, sexual dysfunction, and so on.

  • Equine Meditation
Equine meditation involves the practice of meditation in the presence of horses. It combines mindfulness or meditative techniques with the calming and grounding presence of horses. Participants typically engage in meditation or mindfulness exercises while being near or interacting with horses in a peaceful and natural environment. The horses' presence is believed to enhance the meditative experience, promoting relaxation, self-awareness, and emotional connection. This practice aims to deepen the meditator's mindfulness and foster a sense of harmony between the human and equine worlds, often providing a unique and soothing way to reduce stress and cultivate inner peace.

  • Animal Communication
Animal communication, also known as interspecies communication, is the ability to communicate with animals through telepathy, empathy, and intuition. It involves understanding the animal's body language, vocalizations, behaviour, and emotions, and being able to convey messages back to them. Animal communication can be used to gain insight into an animal's physical and emotional needs, as well as their thoughts and feelings. It can also be used to help resolve behavioural issues, improve training, and deepen the bond between humans and animals. Animal communicators may use various techniques such as visualization, meditation, and energy work to facilitate communication with animals.

  • NLP Coaching
Neuro Linguistic Programming Coaching supports clients to access their dormant potential and achieve more in life. • Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP)
Co-founded by Richard Bandler and John Grinder in the 1970’s, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) enables us to understand how our brain processes the words we use and how that can effect our programming and behaviour. Engaging various tools and techniques, practitioners support clients with re-programming their neurology, language and actions. Rather than allowing thoughts to be passive, NLP techniques help to look at thoughts, feelings and emotions as things that may be controlled. Techniques can include things such as Imagery Training, NLP Swish, Modelling, Mirroring, and Incantations.
