- Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT)Founded by Gary Craig in the 1990's, Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) draw on various alternative medicine practices including acupuncture, neuro-linguistic programming and energy medicine. Treatment involves two-finger tapping on acupuncture points while using acceptance statement(s) to anchor the transformative intent. Depending on the EFT practitioner's level of training and scope of practice, it can be employed to address diverse physical and psychological conditions, including phobias, PTSD, depression, anxiety, and pain.
- HypnotherapyHypnotherapy is a therapeutic technique that utilizes hypnosis to access and influence the subconscious mind. It involves inducing a relaxed state, known as a trance, where the individual is open to positive suggestions and guided imagery. This altered state of consciousness allows the hypnotherapist to work with the client's deeper levels of awareness to address and transform limiting beliefs, behaviours, and emotional patterns. It is a collaborative process that aims to harness the power of the mind for personal growth and healing. For our purposes, it is important to differentiate Hypnosis/Hypnotherapy from Clinical Hypnotherapy. Clinical Hypnotherapists undergo extensive training and are skilled in Counselling/Psychotherapy, making them adept at handling more complex cases such as trauma/PTSD, fears and phobias, sexual dysfunction, and so on.
- KinesiologyKinesiology is the study of movement, derived from Chiropractic and Applied Kinesiology. It utilizes muscle testing to identify imbalances in the body—physical, emotional, biochemical, or spiritual. By bypassing mental stories and beliefs, kinesiologists determine methods to restore balance. They employ techniques like subconscious realigning, acupressure, nutrition, coaching, and emotional clearing to address root causes of imbalances. Kinesiology is a holistic approach, offering solutions for disorders such as stress, muscular and nervous disorders, allergies, nutritional deficiencies, learning difficulties, behavioral issues, and emotional challenges. It aims to transform clients' well-being by addressing the underlying causes and promoting balance in multiple aspects of life.
- Metaphysical HealingMetaphysical Healing is a mind-body approach that recognizes the connection between negative beliefs and physical illness. Louise Hay significantly contributed to this field. Practitioners use energetic healing techniques to address root causes of imbalances, benefiting physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. It relieves stress, brings balance to the body's energy centers, improves energy levels, and sleep patterns. Additionally, it aids in healing emotional issues, releasing stagnant energy, and promoting higher awareness.
- Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP)Co-founded by Richard Bandler and John Grinder in the 1970’s, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) enables us to understand how our brain processes the words we use and how that can effect our programming and behaviour. Engaging various tools and techniques, practitioners support clients with re-programming their neurology, language and actions. Rather than allowing thoughts to be passive, NLP techniques help to look at thoughts, feelings and emotions as things that can be controlled. Techniques can include things such as Imagery Training, NLP Swish, Modelling, Mirroring, and Incantations.
- NLP CoachingNeuro Linguistic Programming Coaching supports clients to access their dormant potential and achieve more in life. NLP Coaches are trained to detect minute clues in facial expressions, tone of voice, and expressions to uncover limiting beliefs and behaviours. Practitioners support their clients to set goals, break addictive habits, improve performance, and transform their relationships.
- PsychicPsychics use extrasensory perception to provide their clients with insight or understanding during times of indecision or when they are at a crossroads. They can tap into their client’s past, present, and future through clairaudience (hearing), clairvoyance (seeing images), clairsentience (recognising feelings), and/or claircognisance (knowing). Psychics may also use tools to enhance their readings such as tarot or angel cards, crystals, or runes. Psychic sessions can take place in various settings such as in person, over the phone, in a group setting, or at an expose.
- Reiki III (Master)Reiki is a hands-on energy healing method developed by Mikao Usui in 1922. What sets it apart is the attunements passed from Teacher/Master to student, opening up their energy fields. Reiki involves transferring universal life force energy from practitioner to client, with hands placed on or above specific body locations. Symbols are used with different intentions, visualized or drawn. Reiki can be done in person or through distant healing, lasting 60-90 minutes. It aids in pain relief, healing, relaxation, and balancing chakras and aura energy. Clients remain clothed on a massage table during sessions. For IICT purposes, a Reiki Master is someone who is qualified to teach and attune others to Reiki.
- Resonate EssencesResonate Essences are a form of vibrational medicine that harnesses the healing properties of flower essences, gem elixirs, and other natural substances. They work on an energetic level to restore balance and promote wellbeing in the body, mind, and spirit. Resonate Essences are created by infusing the energetic imprint of specific plants, crystals, or elements into water, capturing their healing vibrations. When taken orally or applied topically, these essences stimulate self-healing, release emotional patterns, and support personal transformation. Resonate Essences are used as a complementary therapy to address various issues, enhance emotional resilience, and promote holistic healing.
- Sound TherapySound Therapy is a healing modality that utilises the power of sound and vibrations to promote relaxation, balance, and wellbeing. It involves the intentional use of various sound instruments and techniques, such as singing bowls, gongs, tuning forks, and chanting, to create harmonic frequencies that resonate with the body and mind. Sound vibrations can penetrate deeply, releasing tension, reducing stress, and stimulating the body's natural healing abilities. Sound Therapy can be beneficial for improving sleep, reducing anxiety, enhancing meditation, and promoting overall emotional and physical wellbeing. It provides a therapeutic and immersive experience that harmonises and restores the body's energy flow.
