Are you struggling to make sense of the emotional roller-coaster and need something more humanist than clinical information? Do you want to create the best environment (physical, mental, emotional, spiritual) for optimum outcomes, or even perhaps simply deal with anxiety, and release negative core beliefs or patterns that may impact your journey or general wellness?
As a certified Havening Techniques practitioner, Board Registered Hypnotherapist, and NLP Master practitioner with 15+ years working in the fields of addiction, trauma, First Response, and a bodywork that draws on Chinese Martial Arts knowledge of what the body does when under attack, I will create a programme specific to your particular circumstance.
I am available in person in Melbourne, Australia, and Online.

- Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP)Co-founded by Richard Bandler and John Grinder in the 1970’s, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) enables us to understand how our brain processes the words we use and how that can effect our programming and behaviour. Engaging various tools and techniques, practitioners support clients with re-programming their neurology, language and actions. Rather than allowing thoughts to be passive, NLP techniques help to look at thoughts, feelings and emotions as things that can be controlled. Techniques can include things such as Imagery Training, NLP Swish, Modelling, Mirroring, and Incantations.
- Havening Techniques®Havening Techniques® is a psychosensory therapy developed by Dr. Ronald Ruden. It involves the use of gentle touch and distraction techniques to alter the brain's response to distressing memories or emotions. The technique aims to activate the delta waves in the brain, promoting deep relaxation and facilitating the process of desensitization. By applying specific touch and eye movements, Havening seeks to help individuals release and reframe traumatic or distressing experiences, reducing the associated emotional and physiological responses. Havening Techniques® are often used to address conditions such as anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), phobias, and emotional disturbances.
- HypnotherapyHypnotherapy is a therapeutic technique that utilizes hypnosis to access and influence the subconscious mind. It involves inducing a relaxed state, known as a trance, where the individual is open to positive suggestions and guided imagery. This altered state of consciousness allows the hypnotherapist to work with the client's deeper levels of awareness to address and transform limiting beliefs, behaviours, and emotional patterns. It is a collaborative process that aims to harness the power of the mind for personal growth and healing. For our purposes, it is important to differentiate Hypnosis/Hypnotherapy from Clinical Hypnotherapy. Clinical Hypnotherapists undergo extensive training and are skilled in Counselling/Psychotherapy, making them adept at handling more complex cases such as trauma/PTSD, fears and phobias, sexual dysfunction, and so on.
- The Richards Trauma Process (TRTP)™The Richards Trauma Process (TRTP)™ is a step-by-step, structured process that works with the power of the imagination (the language of the subconscious mind) to resolve trauma and trauma-related issues such as anxiety, depression, fear and phobias. Rather than just addressing the symptoms of trauma, it deals with the underlying, unconscious core belief, removing the emotional charge from the past and returning the client to a state of empowerment and calm. TRTP™ includes aspects of Gestalt, Mindfulness, Ego-State Therapy, Choice Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Parts Therapy, Emotion-focused Therapy, Somatic Therapy and specific skills training. TRTP™ is not cognitive or emotional focused therapy, exposure therapy, or soma therapy. It does not use CBT, EMDR, EFT, ACT etc. Nor is it based in any of these therapies.
