- YogaA physical, mental and spiritual practice, Yoga is a Vedic tradition of India and the Himalayas dating more than 2,500 years. Classes are generally 1 - 1 ½ hrs in duration and incorporate physical postures and movement (asanas), breath exercises (pranayama), relaxation and concentration, philosophy, and meditation. Yoga benefits the physical and mental body by enhancing flexibility, improving muscle strength and tone, increasing body awareness, and promoting relaxation and calm.
- Embodied ProcessingEmbodied Processing was created by Trauma Therapists Ryan Hassan & Matt Nettleton. It combines the latest Neuroscience in Trauma, along with lived experience of thousands of client sessions. This bottom-up approach of dealing first with our innate survival drive in our physiology makes for lasting behavioural change and regulation of the nervous system.
- Systemic / Family ConstellationsFamily Constellations, pioneered by Bert Hellinger, is an alternative therapeutic intervention rooted in Gestalt and psychodynamic therapy. It addresses family history, unrecognized dynamics, and dysfunctional patterns that affect individuals. Techniques like drama therapy, sand-tray therapy, and art therapy help clients confront and accept the factual reality of their past. Typically, participants stand in as family members in role-play scenarios, allowing clients to interact directly or observe from a higher perspective. The goal is to gain insights and develop new perspectives, resolving conflicts or familial patterns. Family Constellations are beneficial for identifying childhood patterns affecting the present, confronting deceased or unreachable family members, or understanding how family of origin influences current relationships.
