Quiet Cove

About
As a mum of two little ones, I understand how easy it is for women to put everyone else first. Between motherhood, work, family and the endless demands of everyday life, finding time to slow down and care for ourselves can often fall to the bottom of the list.
This is why I created Quiet Cove - a peaceful, private space in my Baldivis home where women and mums can take a breath, unwind and enjoy some much needed time for themselves.
My focus is on deep relaxation and creating a nurturing experience where women can let go, quiet their minds and feel genuinely cared for.
My hope is that each client leaves feeling lighter, calmer and reminded that she deserves to be cared for too.
Approved Modalities
- Remedial MassageRemedial massage involves the assessment and personalized treatment of muscles, tendons, ligaments, and connective tissues. Therapists trained in this field locate the source of pain by examining these structures and posture. They then administer targeted massages to enhance blood circulation, improve joint mobility, and aid tissue repair. Remedial massage therapists usually have specific objectives, such as addressing knee, shoulder, or back injuries, which may necessitate multiple sessions. This type of massage can assist with various conditions, including neck, shoulder, and back pain, injury prevention, headaches, fatigue, arthritis, anxiety/depression, diabetes-related symptoms, and addiction recovery.
- Pregnancy MassagePregnancy Massage is any type of massage therapy performed on a woman pre or postpartum that accommodates changes in her body. There are several things a therapist will do to compensate including: using a pregnancy massage table or bolsters to position a woman on her side; using light, slow strokes on the legs to prevent any potential blood clots from dislodging; and either using light pressure on the belly or avoiding the area altogether. Furthermore, pregnancy massage is often ill-advised during the first trimester of pregnancy to mitigate the risk of miscarriage. Clients generally receive clearance from their medical professional prior to commencing pregnancy massage. If practitioners notice or suspect any symptoms that may be contraindicative, they should refer their client to a medical professional immediately.
- Hot Stone MassageA hot stone massage is a relaxing massage therapy to ease muscle tension and damaged soft tissue. During a session, practitioners place heated stones along the client’s spine, stomach, chest, face, palm, feet and toes. Stones are heated in a professional massage stone heater and the temperature is approximately 100 - 130 degrees F. Stones are generally smooth and flat and made of basalt, a type of volcanic rock. Practitioners may also incorporate Swedish Massage techniques into a session including Effleurage (long, flowing strokes), Petrissage (kneading), Tapotement (rhythmic tapping), Friction and Vibration which may be applied to the back, neck, legs, arms, hands and feet. They may also apply cold stones post-treatment to calm blood vessels and soothe the skin.
