Approved Modalities
  • Ecotherapy
Ecotherapy, also known as nature therapy or green therapy, is a therapeutic approach that recognizes the healing power of the natural world. It involves engaging with nature as a means to improve mental, emotional, and physical well-being. Ecotherapy activities can include outdoor exercises, gardening, walking in nature, wildlife observation, and nature-based art therapy. The concept is rooted in the belief that connecting with nature can reduce stress, anxiety, and depression while promoting relaxation, mindfulness, and overall psychological balance. Ecotherapy aims to harness the positive effects of nature to support individuals in their healing and personal growth processes.
  • NDIS Support Worker
An NDIS Support Worker provides essential assistance to individuals with disabilities, helping them live independently and participate in their community. This role includes supporting daily activities such as grocery shopping, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and gardening. Support Workers also provide transport to appointments, social outings, or recreational activities, fostering connection and engagement. They assist with personal development, goal setting, and skill-building, encouraging independence in areas like budgeting, cooking, and community access. Compassionate and reliable, they offer companionship and emotional support, creating a safe and empowering environment. While they do not provide advanced personal care, their role is crucial in enhancing quality of life by promoting inclusion, well-being, and autonomy. Support Workers tailor their assistance to each individual’s needs, ensuring respectful and person-centered care.
  • Counselling

Through deep listening and empathy, counsellors establish a positive working relationship which creates a safe and confidential space. Within this context, clients can develop effective ways to deal with anxieties and negative life patterns and gain new perspectives in a non-judgemental environment. Sessions can be carried out in person or via telephone or videoconferencing. In some countries, Counselling is regulated. It is essential you are familiar with and adhere to the laws in your state/province or country which govern the appropriate use of titles, require licensure/registration, or a specific level of education.
