Your Best Hopes Wellness Coaching, LLC
About

Julie A.M. Sherwood is an Advanced Certified Wellness Coach, Certified Root Cause Therapy Practitioner, Trauma-Informed Certified Coach, Master Usui Reiki Practitioner, and Master True Sidereal (Constellational) Astrologist. With more than 30 years of experience in the legal and medical fields, Julie witnessed firsthand the effects of chronic stress, burnout, trauma, and life transitions on personal well-being and purpose. These experiences inspired her to leave corporate life and dedicate her work to helping others rediscover hope, resilience, and fulfillment.

Julie combines evidence-based, solution-focused coaching with trauma-informed Root Cause Therapy to help clients identify and release limiting beliefs, emotional patterns, and unresolved experiences that keep them feeling stuck. Her collaborative approach empowers clients to reconnect with their own strengths, clarity, and inner wisdom while creating meaningful, lasting change.

To complement her coaching practice, Julie integrates Constellational (True Sidereal) Astrology and Usui Reiki when appropriate, offering clients additional perspectives for self-discovery, healing, and personal growth. She also developed her Life Path Empowerment program, which combines Root Cause Therapy with astrology to help individuals uncover their unique purpose while clearing the obstacles that prevent them from living it fully.

Guided by the belief that lasting transformation comes from within, Julie is passionate about helping people navigate major life transitions, heal emotional wounds, and create lives aligned with their deepest values and authentic selves. Her mission is to offer compassionate guidance, restore hope, and empower each client to move confidently toward a life of purpose, wellness, and fulfillment.

Approved Modalities
  • Root-Cause Therapy™
Root-Cause Therapy™ is a holistic approach aiming to identify and address the underlying factors contributing to physical, emotional, or psychological issues. It delves beyond surface symptoms, seeking to uncover and resolve the fundamental causes of distress or imbalance. By exploring past experiences, traumas, thought patterns, and belief systems, Root-Cause Therapy™ aims to facilitate profound healing and sustainable change. It often involves various therapeutic techniques tailored to individual needs, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness practices, and somatic experiencing. The goal is to empower individuals to break free from recurrent patterns, cultivate resilience, and foster a deeper sense of well-being, promoting holistic health on multiple levels.
  • Reiki III (Master)
Reiki is a hands-on energy healing method developed by Mikao Usui in 1922. What sets it apart is the attunements passed from Teacher/Master to student, opening up their energy fields. Reiki involves transferring universal life force energy from practitioner to client, with hands placed on or above specific body locations. Symbols are used with different intentions, visualized or drawn. Reiki can be done in person or through distant healing, lasting 60-90 minutes. It aids in pain relief, healing, relaxation, and balancing chakras and aura energy. Clients remain clothed on a massage table during sessions. For IICT purposes, a Reiki Master is someone who is qualified to teach and attune others to Reiki.
  • Wellness Coaching
A Wellness Coach is a professional who supports clients in achieving holistic well-being by addressing various aspects of health, including physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual dimensions. They collaborate with individuals to set goals, develop personalized strategies for self-care, enhance resilience, and cultivate a balanced and fulfilling lifestyle. Wellness Coaches provide guidance, motivation, and accountability to empower clients in making sustainable lifestyle changes aimed at improving overall health and quality of life. Drawing from principles of psychology, nutrition, exercise science, mindfulness, and positive psychology, they help clients navigate challenges, overcome barriers, and thrive in all areas of wellness. Wellness coaches are not therapists/mental health professionals or qualified nutritionists, nor can they diagnose or prescribe. Anything beyond their scope of practice should be directed to a qualified healthcare professional.
