I'm Ioana, an EFT and Matrix Reimprinting practitioner based in Australia. My path into this work began with my own body, when a Crohn's diagnosis in 2022 became an unravelling. I started to see how much I'd been carrying emotionally, and how long my nervous system had been running on overdrive without me realising it. Conventional medicine didn't have the answers I needed, so I looked further, and working with an EFT practitioner who had walked a similar path changed everything.
I believe the body keeps score, but it also holds the way through, and its symptoms are the messengers that show us where to look.
I work with women, especially mums, navigating chronic illness, burnout, or exhaustion that goes bone-deep, as well as birth trauma, hormonal and menstrual issues, and miscarriage. Through EFT and Matrix Reimprinting, we gently explore the emotional roots beneath your symptoms, not to fix you, but to help you come back to yourself.
- Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT)Founded by Gary Craig in the 1990's, Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) draw on various alternative medicine practices including acupuncture, neuro-linguistic programming and energy medicine. Treatment involves two-finger tapping on acupuncture points while using acceptance statement(s) to anchor the transformative intent. Depending on the EFT practitioner's level of training and scope of practice, it can be employed to address diverse physical and psychological conditions, including phobias, PTSD, depression, anxiety, and pain.
- Matrix Reimprinting using EFTMatrix Reimprinting, developed by Karl Dawson, is a gentle tactile therapy derived from Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT). It addresses the concept that negative memories are stored as holograms in a person's body-field, causing dissonance in the subconscious. Like EFT, it utilizes the Traditional Chinese Medicine meridian system through tapping specific points while bringing up an issue to release stored stress and trauma. However, Matrix Reimprinting takes it further, allowing clients to reimagine past memories, introducing new resources and transforming the pictures associated with those memories. It can involve working with past lives or future selves. The therapy can be combined with Life Coaching, Counselling, Hypnotherapy, Psychotherapy, Bodywork, and Energy Work, effectively addressing issues such as addictions, phobias, allergies, core beliefs, birth trauma, and relationship concerns.
