About

I'm an Integrative Somatic Coach with advanced training in Somatic Experiencing®, Yoga Therapy, Pain Reprocessing Therapy, and Health & Wellness Coaching. I support people experiencing chronic stress, burnout, trauma, persistent pain, anxiety, and major life transitions by helping them understand and support the connection between their nervous system, emotions, behaviours, and physical health.

Many of the people I work with already know what they "should" be doing, yet something continues to get in the way. Rather than relying on willpower or symptom management alone, I help clients feel and understand the protective patterns within their nervous system that influence how they think, feel, move, and respond to life's challenges.

My approach is collaborative, evidence-informed, and deeply compassionate. By integrating nervous system education and support, somatic practices and tracking, I help clients build self-awareness, befriend their bodies, reduce fear and overwhelm, and create lasting and sustainable habits that align with their values and goals.

Let's move gently on this path, together.

Approved Modalities
  • Yoga Therapy
Yoga therapy is a holistic approach that combines the principles and practices of yoga with therapeutic techniques to promote healing, well-being, and self-discovery. Yoga therapists work with clients one-on-one or in small groups, assessing their unique needs, health goals, and limitations. They then create personalized programs that may include physical movements, breathing exercises, relaxation techniques, meditation, and lifestyle recommendations. This therapeutic approach can help manage or alleviate a variety of health conditions, including chronic pain, stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, and various physical ailments. Yoga therapy should be facilitated by a qualified yoga therapist who has undergone specialised training in the therapeutic application of yoga.

  • Somatic Experiencing®
The Somatic Experiencing® method is a body-oriented approach to the healing of trauma and other stress disorders. It is the life’s work of Peter A. Levine, PhD, resulting from his multidisciplinary study of stress physiology, ethology, biology, neuroscience, psychology, and indigenous healing practices, together with over 50 years of successful clinical application. The SE™ approach releases traumatic shock and restores connection, which is key to transforming PTSD and the wounds of emotional and early developmental attachment trauma. SE offers a framework to assess where a person is “stuck” in the fight, flight, or freeze responses and provides clinical tools to resolve these fixated physiological states. It provides effective skills appropriate to a variety of healing professions including mental health, medicine, physical and occupational therapies, bodywork, addiction treatment, first responses, education, and others.

  • Health Coaching
Health Coaches promote a healthy lifestyle by focusing on habit change. They use motivational strategies, behavior change theories, and health education to help clients achieve physical fitness and health goals. Health Coaches address various aspects, including weight loss, energy optimization, self-care prioritization, sleep management, self-esteem, immunity, and gut health. They can work individually or in group settings in places like gyms, wellness centers, doctor's offices, natural food stores, and digital wellness platforms. It's important to note that Health Coaches are not therapists or qualified nutritionists, and they cannot diagnose or prescribe. Anything beyond their scope of practice should be referred to a qualified healthcare professional.
